Jesus was the original small group leader when He called 12 men to come together to follow Him.
Today we believe Jesus wants us to model his plan for coming together, outside of Sunday mornings, to learn more about Him and to develop relationships with each other. New Life offers several different groups so you can find one that "fits" you and your family. We encourage you to try out a small group to connect even further with us!
Sunday Afternoon :
Elder’s meeting - this is an open time of prayer and discussion with the elders of our church. Please feel free to come and be a part of this gathering any time! Meets in the orange carpet room at New Life from 12:30-2:00 p.m.
Tuesday Night:
"Heaven" Study – this is a group for people who are interested in finding out more about the much debated topic of what will happen after we die. The book, “Heaven”, written by Rand Alcorn, answers the expected queries on heavenly life as well as quirkier ones: will Christians drink coffee in heaven? Will there be homeownership? Will our pets be in heaven? Come join in anytime! Meets at Nate and Chrissy Walters’ house every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday Night:
"Take it to the Limit" Study -
We'll be reading through the book, "Take it to the Limit", every Wednesday night! In this book, Andy Stanley talks about having margins in life, and if a person lives life at the edge where culture and society pushes them, having no margin for error, when something happens, there will come grave consequences. Come check it out! Meets at Jason and Kristen Kiley's house every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
Book of Isaiah Study – we’ll be going through Isaiah in this study and learning more about punishment, holiness, salvation, and the hope of the coming Messiah. Jim Root will be leading this study at Ester Spencer’s house every Wednesday night at 7:30.
Thursday Night:
Book of James Study – come learn with us as we read through James this month. This bible study meets every Thursday night at Mike and Michelle Gimmey’s house at 7:00 p.m.
Friday Night:
Scrap ‘n’ Script – A night of scrapbooking and biblical message for women once a month. Please come and join us for some great topics on being daughters, mothers, wives, and sisters in Christ. Bring a snack to share and your scrapbooking supplies (or any craft you choose). Located in the orange carpet room at New Life from 7:00 p.m. to whenever. Check with Chrissy Walters or Sara Taylor for monthly dates and topics.
